Chinese engineered quartz (HTS 6810) carries a 25% Section 301 tariff. Spanish quartz (Silestone, Compac, Levantina) ships at 0% duty and positions as a premium alternative — the price gap with Chinese product after Section 301 is often smaller than buyers expect.
Brazil dominates natural granite: Absolute Black, Fantasy Brown and Calacatta varieties. Lead times are 45–60 days port-to-port to Miami. Slab shipments require A-frame wooden crating to minimize transit damage; we specify this in every order.
