For multifamily and commercial projects. Save 35-50% sourcing direct from verified factories in Italy, Vietnam, and Mexico. Landed cost included.
*Representative ranges. Actual savings depend on spec, quantity, and destination.
The margin between factory and your project goes to distributors who add two to three layers of markup. Nexo removes those layers.
A standard solid pine 6-panel interior door from a US distributor runs $180-$260 per unit. The comparable door sourced direct from a verified factory in Vietnam (same species, same finish grade) lands at $75-$110 per unit, duties and freight included.
On a 200-door multifamily project, that difference is $25,000 to $48,000back to your margin, not the distributor's.
You pay the manufacturer's export price plus actual logistics costs. No distributor markup, no intermediary cuts.
FOB + freight + duties + US customs + inland trucking. One number. You approve before committing.
We handle sourcing, sampling, production tracking, customs clearance, and delivery coordination.
You don't need import experience. We handle the process end to end.

We identify 2-3 verified factories that match your spec, volume, and quality level. We present options with FOB pricing, lead times, and certifications. Back to you within 3 to 5 business days.
Before production starts, we coordinate physical samples to your location. You approve the spec, finish, hardware compatibility, and dimensions. Nothing moves forward until you say yes.
We track production at key milestones. Before the container is loaded, we coordinate a pre-shipment inspection and provide you with the inspection report and photos.
We coordinate US customs clearance and inland freight. You receive the doors at your job site or warehouse with the complete documentation package. End of process.
We do not send you a list of factories from a directory. Every supplier we present has been verified: export history, current catalog, declared lead times, payment terms, and the ability to send physical samples. If a factory does not clear that standard, you never hear about it.
No bulk order moves forward without you approving physical samples. You verify the spec, finish, hardware compatibility, and dimensions. If the sample does not match what was quoted, we find a different factory.
Before the container is loaded, we coordinate a third-party inspection or factory inspection to verify quantity, condition, and spec compliance. You receive the inspection report before you approve container loading.
Every order comes with a complete documentation set. No surprises at customs, no missing paperwork, no delays because a certificate is missing.
We quote FOB + freight + duties + customs + inland trucking before you place the order. You know the total cost before you spend a dollar.
You get updates at key milestones: deposit confirmed, production started, inspection passed, container loaded. You are not waiting on silence.
This is where most sourcing intermediaries fall short. They send you a FOB quote and disappear. We provide the complete documentation set required for US import, so your customs broker has everything they need and you have a paper trail for every order.
Document requirements vary by product type, country of origin, and buyer requirements. We confirm what applies to your order before production starts.
Italian factories produce solid wood and lacquered doors for hospitality, luxury residential, and high-end commercial. If the door is a visible design element, Italy is the benchmark.
The default sourcing market for mid-to-high quality at $45-$130 FOB. Factories with 10-15 years of US export experience, accustomed to US dimensional standards.
Mexican manufacturers serve the mid-market US buyer. USMCA provides duty preference for qualifying products, and proximity means shorter transit than ocean freight.
FOB ranges above are reference figures based on recent sourcing. Exact pricing depends on your spec, finish, quantity, and current factory capacity. We provide actual factory quotes as part of the sourcing process.
Projects shown are representative examples. Company names not disclosed per standard NDA terms.
The solid walnut doors in Miami boutique hotel corridors and the custom entry doors in luxury Coral Gables residences come from the same verified factories in Italy and Vietnam that we source from. The difference is who is standing between you and the factory.

Solid walnut interior doors with brass lever hardware, sourced direct from Vietnam. Landed 47% below the US hospitality supplier quote.

Oversized solid white oak door, architect-specified. Sourced from a verified Italian factory. $28,000 in estimated savings on this project vs the local millwork quote.

Flush walnut-veneer doors with invisible hinges from Vietnam. Full documentation package included. 43% below the local door supplier's quote.

Custom solid mahogany panel doors with antique brass hardware, sourced from a verified factory at 44% below US hospitality supplier pricing.
We do not sell doors. We give you direct access to the factories that supply them to the projects you see in luxury residential and hospitality design publications, at a price that reflects what the factory actually charges.

You're building a 20-unit multifamily in Dade County. You need 150 doors on site, pre-hung, within 10 weeks. You've been buying from a local supplier at $220 a door and want to know if you can do better. Most contractors on this spec land at $75-$110 per door, landed. That's $16,500 to $21,750 back on this order.
You're finishing 8 townhomes and the door budget is eating your margin. You don't have a logistics team and you've never imported. You don't need one.Nexo handles sourcing, customs, and delivery. You get a single landed cost per unit, and you don't need to become an importer to use it.
You evaluate suppliers for a construction company running 4-6 projects per year. You need documentation: factory certifications, inspection report, HTS classification, duty calculation, freight insurance. We provide the full package as part of every order. Your customs broker and project manager will have everything they need.
In practice, roughly 100-200 standard interior doors depending on spec, or a smaller quantity of custom or premium units.
How our quotes work: We don't publish a price list because landed cost depends on four variables: factory price (spec-dependent), freight (origin and destination), duty rate (HTS code and country), and inland trucking (delivery point).
What we do is give you the complete number before you commit. Every line item. No estimates.
| Spec | US distributor | Nexo landed | Savings |

| Solid oak / hardwood | $320-$500 | $130-$200 | 35-50% |

Tell us your project. We'll come back within 3 business days with factory options and a full landed cost breakdown.

Most contractors and developers in South Florida have been buying interior doors the same way for 20 years: call the local distributor, get a quote, pay whatever they say. That price includes two or three layers of margin between the factory and your job site. Nobody tells you that, and most people don't know to ask.
I built Nexo because I saw how wide that gap was. A door that a factory in Vietnam sells at $60 FOB ends up at $180 on the shelf of a local supplier, not because shipping costs $120 more, but because each intermediary takes their cut along the way. That math does not have to work against you.
Sourcing directly from verified manufacturers used to require a dedicated logistics team, import expertise, and relationships built over years. That still matters. But what's changed is that the infrastructure (freight forwarding, customs brokerage, quality inspection, document processing) is now accessible to buyers doing $10,000 to $500,000 in a single order. You just need someone on your side who knows how to use it.
That's what Nexo does. We are not a freight forwarder. We are not a trading company selling whatever is cheap. We work with a specific set of verified manufacturers, in a specific set of product categories, for buyers who have real projects and want a complete landed cost, not just a FOB number.
If that's the type of partner you're looking for, we'd like to work with you.
Send us your spec. We'll come back with 2-3 verified factory options and a complete landed cost quote, so you can compare against your current supplier with real numbers.
Based in Miami, FL · Sourcing from Italy · Vietnam · Mexico · Min. $10,000 FOB
Our minimum is $10,000 FOB, typically 100 to 200 standard interior doors depending on the spec. Orders with higher-spec or custom doors may qualify at lower quantities.
Production lead time is 6-14 weeks depending on factory and order complexity, plus transit: 5-8 days from Mexico by truck, 18-28 days from Vietnam, 22-32 days from Italy. We confirm production and transit timelines with each factory before presenting options. Mexico is the right choice when timeline is tight.
We coordinate the full customs process. Our landed cost quote includes customs broker fees and calculated duty based on the HTS code for your specific product. You do not need to hire a separate broker or interact with CBP directly. We handle it or coordinate with your existing broker if you have one.
Yes. Physical sample approval is standard before any bulk order is confirmed. Sample lead time is typically 2-4 weeks from the factory. Some factories charge for samples; others include them for qualified buyers. We confirm before we proceed.
We verify applicable certifications as part of our supplier qualification process. Common certifications we confirm: FSC (solid wood), CARB Phase 2 (engineered wood and MDF components), ISO 9001, and fire rating certifications (UL, CE, or local equivalent) for fire-rated products. Certification documentation is included in the order package.
Italy produces premium and architectural doors: higher price, higher design spec, strong finish quality. Vietnam produces solid mid-to-high quality doors at significantly lower cost, the right choice for most multifamily and commercial projects. Mexico sits between them in price, with faster transit and 0% duty under USMCA for qualifying products. We recommend based on your spec and budget, not on which factory pays us more.
A freight forwarder moves cargo. They do not source products or verify factories. A random broker may send you a quote from a factory directory without vetting the supplier. Nexo verifies every factory before we source from them, coordinates sampling, manages production tracking, handles the full documentation package, and is accountable through delivery. We operate as a sourcing and logistics intermediary, not as a quote generator.
Yes. About half our buyers are general contractors on multifamily or commercial projects. The other half are developers and procurement managers. If you have a real project with a real timeline, we can work with you.
